My Story
Mudhouse Farms was created and founded by me, Midge Bridge, in 2018. I started making soaps that would be good for my aging skin. I soon had too many soaps, and the Mudhouse Farms soap business was born. I offered soaps and bug sprays at my very first farmers market, and my product line has grown since then in response to requests from customers and friends. I sold my products in the Asheville, NC area until 2025, when I moved to Pennsylvania to be near family.
During my time in NC, I developed many natural products for skin and hair using botanicals that I have grown or locally sourced when possible, organic products when I can source them, used only natural and fun colorants, used small and local businesses so that other entrepreneurs can share in success, and collaborated with other makers to have the highest quality skin care products possible. My product line now includes body butters, tallow skin balms, face serums, deodorants, and much more.
